Countdown to Christmas: 11 days

The day has finally come that I get to go home for Christmas. As much as I love Leeds, with it's Christmas lights, German Christmas Market and our incredibly Christmassy house, I think I need to get out of here. The work load has just made my life a living hell, getting stressed and upset about things that don't really matter to me etc. This isn't what this part of the year is meant to be about: it's supposed to be, for fellow atheists out there who are not quite convinced by the whole nativity story, the time of year where you are with family, drinking a lot, eating a lot, wearing a lot...it's the season of greed, mixed in with a bit of giving! And I feel with all this work I have been doing, I have given too much to my tutors, and really, they owe me something back. They owe me something big.

I had an exam this afternoon which I spent a long time revising for, so I hope I end up with the mark to show it! Anyway, enough ranting - I'm driving home for Christmas! Oh I can't wait to see those faces! la la la la....
