Countdown to Christmas: 22 days

I'm dedicating this post to a website I stumbled upon recently called lottieanddoof. The website is run by a guy called Tim who claims to have "an increasingly serious obsession with cooking, hostings and the politics of food." Although not all the recipes are his own, they are all taken from, or inspired by, his culinary experiences from around the world. I can honestly say some of those recipes had me salivating and craving the final result so badly.
The Cranberry and Vanilla Bean Sorbet was a recipe that not only sounded totally delicious, but it also sounded like an unusual Christmassy dessert that seems relatively simple to make.
The pictures are what really got me though. Have a look at this and try not to start lusting over it too much, like I did.
He then describes his recipe: "Your first bite of this sorbet is smooth and vanilla but as it settles on your tongue you get the sweet and tangy punch of cranberry."
Painful, isn't it?
